Nursing London/Glasgow/Edinburgh

Receive 3 credits in this nursing course while experiencing all that the UK has to offer in a 10 day excursion.

During the 10 day travel for this program you will walk in the historical footsteps of modern nursing, medicine and healthcare. Participants will have an Fall II course that meets regularly on campus and then depart for the UK following the end of fall semester.

In addition to the academic and professional experiences, students will gain a deeper understanding of British culture through excursions to historic landmarks, museums, public parks, and local community initiatives. Highlights include exploring Edinburgh鈥檚 medical history, learning about the legacy of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole in London, and participating in traditional Scottish ceilidh dancing. This program encourages students to think globally about healthcare while fostering cultural awareness, professional development, and meaningful international experiences.
